Barcelona could announce another contract renewal this week
Story updated
The story in brief
32-second readLa Liga giants Barcelona could announce the latest important contract extension in the club’s first-team ranks as early as this week. This comes amid the understanding that only the signature is missing from Marc Bernal’s new deal in Catalunya’s capital.
Youngster Bernal is one of a number of leading figures in Barcelona set to be rewarded with fresh terms over the weeks ahead. Considered the long-term future of the engine room setup at the Spotify Camp Nou, the Spaniard, at just 19, is already a prominent figure in Hansi Flick’s senior ranks.
Across the early weeks of the new campaign, Bernal has been afforded minutes in every one of Barca’s nine fixtures between La Liga and the Champions League.
