The story in brief
7-second readBorussia Mönchengladbach sporting director Rouven Schröder knows that the club will eventually have to let 17-year-old Wael Mohya go, given the youngster's immense talent.
From the source
At the age of just 17, Wael Mohya is already playing an important role for Borussia Mönchengladbach and was most recently instrumental in Friday's 3-2 win over VfB Stuttgart, scoring a goal and providing an assist to help his side secure their first Bundesliga victory of the season.
Gladbach are naturally delighted with their academy graduate and will be keen to benefit from his talents for as long as possible. However, sporting director Rouven Schröder is aware that the club will inevitably have to part ways with the highly-rated midfielder sooner or later.
“He handles being Borussia's great hope very well. He has been brought up incredibly well, comes from a wonderful family, and of course, we keep an eye on how he deals with the attention.
