Alex Scott’s stance on joining Chelsea in January as Bournemouth perform U-turn
Story updated
The story in brief
28-second readChelsea may have moved an inch closer to signing top target Alex Scott from Premier League rivals Bournemouth. Bournemouth’s stance had been that Scott would not be sold in the January transfer window.
However, their position seems to have softened. On Tuesday, multiple outlets reported that Bournemouth are now open to selling their star midfielder this winter. He will not come cheap, though.
It is thought that it could take £130m to get Scott out of the Vitality Stadium . The good news for Chelsea is that if they can agree a fee with the Cherries, the 23-year-old is likely to sign for them.
