The story in brief
30-second readA member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this week been linked with what would be a surprise move away from the club.
This comes amid the understanding that Italian heavyweights Juventus have set their sights on the signature of Blancos star Bernardo Silva. Versatile midfielder Bernardo of course only took his talents to Spain’s capital this past summer.
Following the expiration of his contract terms with Manchester City, the Portuguese was snapped up by Real Madrid on a free transfer. Bernardo went on to enjoy a prominent start to life at the Bernabéu, afforded starting status for his new club’s opening fixtures of the season.
