From the source

Tottenham Hotspur over £350m on 10 players during the summer window to bounce back from a disastrous 2025/26 campaign. After a six-game winless run, Spurs finally got their first win of the season last week.

They beat Coventry City 3-1, before stunning Chelsea 2-0 away from home. Despite finding some success of late, Spurs’ problems in several areas of the pitch have been well documented.

James Maddison suffered a groin injury against Chelsea and could be sidelined for weeks. The England international’s injury problems have been extremely frustrating, and at 29, it is perhaps time for the North London club to identify his potential replacement.
