Source context
That was a fun one, wasn’t it? Bayern Munich romped all over VfB Stuttgart, trouncing the newly promoted side 5-0 at a canter to keep up their status as the Frauen-Bundesliga’s top team. It’s always fun to hand out awards after a match like this. Stuttgart managed almost nothing all game — no big chances, just about half an xG, and five shots to Bayern’s 20. Two of those efforts and over half of the team’s xG production came from half-time substitute Jana Beuschlein. Both efforts came in the game’s waning minutes with the result well in hand, but if someone was going to claw back a consolation goal, it was her.
