Tottenham’s Lucas Bergvall is attracting transfer interest from Barcelona and Napoli amid rumours of a release clause in his contract. Tottenham Hotspur managed to secure Lucas Bergvall’s future early in the season, with the midfielder signing a new deal despite looking to leave North London in the summer in search of more game time in his preferred number eight role.
This season, however, his minutes have not increased significantly, with Bergvall managing just two starts across the campaign. Competition for places in Spurs’ midfield has played a major role, while his latest injury – set to keep him out for the month – has further limited his involvement.
This situation has now attracted interest from several clubs. Two seasons on, the Spanish giants are back in for the 20-year-old, who impressed in his debut campaign at Tottenham.
