For the second week in a row, a Tottenham star has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Week award, which shows the upward trajectory Roberto De Zerbi’s side are on.
Two weeks can be a long time in football, and so it has proved for Spurs, with the atmosphere around the club having been transformed by two back-to-back wins against Coventry City and Chelsea.
Tottenham were being backed to be in a relegation battle by some pundits just two weeks ago, but they now find themselves just three points off sixth place.
