From the source

Tottenham have been told that their North London rivals are now showing serious interest in a pacy winger who has been on the Lilywhites’ radar for years.

While Mathys Tel has come into form after a poor start to the season, left wing is a problem area for Spurs, given the injuries to Mykhailo Mudryk and Wilson Odobert.

Mudryk has not played competitive football for two years due to his previous doping ban, while Odobert will come off a lengthy layoff due to an ACL injury and may take time to get back to his best.
