Manuel Neuer: What a blunder—giving up the 0–1 goal in less than nine seconds! After a back pass immediately following the kickoff, Neuer lost the ball to Fellhauer, who slotted it home to make it 1–0 for the hosts.
Neuer also looked really bad on the second goal. On Brackelmann’s shot, the 40-year-old fumbled the ball right into the path of Ribeiro, who, unmarked, scored to make it 2-1 for FCA.
