Just months after exiting Tottenham, Will Lankshear is already in line to achieve something that not many players have while plying their trade in the Championship.
With hindsight, Tottenham’s decision to sell Lankshear looks like a blunder, with the centre-forward showing why he was so highly thought of by many at Hotspur Way.
Lankshear has already scored 15 times for Middlesbrough, with 13 of those strikes coming in the Championship, with the 21-year-old five goals ahead of his nearest challenger for the Golden Boot.
