Arsenal handed fresh hope of signing Vinicius Junior
Story updated
The story in brief
25-second readArsenal did everything they could to sign Vinicius Junior during the summer transfer window , and for a time, it appeared they might secure his signature.
However, the Brazilian eventually chose to extend his contract with Real Madrid, leaving the Gunners to focus on other transfer targets. Vinicius remains one of the Spanish club’s leading players and now has a contract running until 2032.
Although the extension was positive news for his current employers, Arsenal have not completely abandoned their interest and would still welcome an opportunity to bring him to the Emirates.
