Arsenal’s search for more attacking depth ahead of the January window has led them towards Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi, but the early indications point to a deal being extremely difficult to execute.
According to TeamTalk, Bournemouth have made their position clear. They do not intend to be forced into any sale, and the contractual picture leaves them in a position of strength.
The key line is emphatic, Kroupi “has no release clause and remains firmly under their control amid interest from Arsenal”. For a club assessing winter opportunities, that is the sort of wording that immediately cools expectations.
