Arsenal's Kai Havertz problem isn't what Fleetwood performance suggests
Story updated
The story in brief
5-second readArsenal fans should be concerned about Kai Havertz, but not because of what he did against Fleetwood Town.
From the source
Whenever Arsenal suffer a negative result, a scapegoat is established amongst the fanbase. For Tuesday night's humiliation at Highbury against Fleetwood Town, Kai Havertz is seemingly the man.
Supporters have piled in on the German for failing to find the back of the net against the League Two outfit, with the striker undeniably spurring countless clear-cut opportunities in the game.
He finished the game with seven shots, 0.72 expected goals and 14 touches in Fleetwood's box, but no goals. He should have made more from the positions he found himself in.
