Brentford fought back to earn a 1-1 draw at Hull City after Dango Ouattara cancelled out Oli McBurnie's first-half penalty, extending the hosts' winless run in the Premier League to six games.

Hull had looked on course for a valuable victory after taking the lead in the 25th minute. Brentford goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher played a poor pass towards Aaron Hickey, allowing Everton loanee Tim Iroegbunam to win possession before being brought down by the defender.

Hickey received a yellow card and McBurnie calmly converted from the spot to score his first Premier League goal of the season. Sergej Jakirovic's side were the better team for much of the first half, disrupting Brentford's rhythm and limiting their attacking threat.
