From the source

Bayern Munich hit the road and traveled to the Black Forest for a date with SC Freiburg. The Bavarians took a depleted squad on the trip that was missing the head coach and several key players.

None of it was ideal, but Bayern Munich gutted out a tough 3–1 victory over a game home side. Without Joshua Kimmich (bereavement), Luis Díaz (hamstring), Jamal Musiala (thigh), Bara Sapoko Ndiaye (appendectomy), Manuel Neuer (foot), Vincent Kompany (hospitalization), Kim Min-jae (groin / knee), and Aleksandar Pavlović (calf), Bayern Munich had to scramble to put together this lineup.

The most curious omission was Alphonso Davies. Otherwise, things seemed normal (well, as normal as they could be). Davies did eventually enter the game in the 73rd minute for Nathaniel Brown.
