Former Bayern Munich player and team manager Kathleen Krüger, once described as the most powerful woman in the Bundesliga, reflected on the current situation that the club is going through, feeling the losses of Joshua Kimmich and Vincent Kompany—both through extremely unfortunate circumstances.
Speaking in an interview captured by @iMiaSanMia, Krüger was emotional when touching on the topics of Kompany and Kimmich. “I think the entire week at FC Bayern has been an intense one—not so much on the sporting side, but actually on a very human level.
When I think about Joshua Kimmich and his whole family, for example, it’s obviously devastating, and it affects me deeply. I’m thinking very, very much about him and his entire family, and now also about Vinnie, and of course I really hope he gets much, much better very quickly,” she said.
