Borussia Dortmund proved their mettle in a hard-fought 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Fabio Silva struck in the 89th minute to equalize for the BVB and salvage a point from the champions' den despite being on the backfoot for much of the second half.
Just minutes after Jobe Bellingham's goal was ruled out, Konrad Laimer fired the Bavarians in front to put them 1-0 up at the break. Serhou Guirassy restored parity for the Black and Yellow at the hour mark but Dauoy Upamecano brought the holders back in front shortly after.
With Dortmund trailing again, a second goal was needed to avoid a loss and it came though a Silva, who came off the bench to make it 2-2 in the penultimate minute of normal time.
