From the source
Chelsea could be set to go head-to-head with Liverpool for the signature of Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott. Both clubs are interested in the 23-year-old, who could be available in the January transfer window.
Initially, it was thought that Bournemouth would not sell their star player this winter. However, it is now believed that Bournemouth have come to terms with losing Scott in January.
It is a boost for Chelsea, who have been chasing the Englishman since the summer. Liverpool are also keen, but it looks like Chelsea are the frontrunners for his signature.
