From the source

Champions League encounter against Roma at Old Trafford on Tuesday. Michael Carrick has been relying on Diogo Dalot to play as an inverted full-back after the absences of left-backs Luke Shaw and Patrick Dorgu due to injuries.

Dalot has made 13 appearances across all competitions for Manchester United this season and the 27-year-old Portuguese defender has played four times at left-back. The Portugal international started on Tuesday evening and Manchester United fans could not hold back their true feelings over his performance in the left-back role.

Diogo Dalot played a key part in Manchester United falling behind at Old Trafford after only 11 minutes in their latest Champions League clash. The Man Utd defender lost track of the run from Matias Soule, who had acres of space behind the Red Devils’ backline.
