Story updated
The story in brief
21-second readLiverpool have got themselves their Mohamed Salah replacement. That was essentially confirmed on Saturday afternoon. Mohamed Salah left Liverpool in the summer after a heartbreaking goodbye.
The Egyptian goes down as one of the greatest to ever wear the shirt and one of the most prolific players in Premier League history.
The surprising thing, then, is that Liverpool did not replace Salah. Not directly, anyway, as the Reds went the entire window without signing a right-winger.
