Conte momentum grows as pressure mounts on Carrick at Manchester United

Antonio Conte is emerging as a potential option for Manchester United, with Michael Carrick under growing pressure after a poor start to the season. According to La Repubblica, via Il Napolista , United supporters are calling for the former Napoli coach, though the club have yet to make a move.

“A change of coach at Old Trafford has not been decided,” the paper writes. Conte has been without a job since leaving Napoli in the summer after two seasons.

He has made no secret of his desire to return to the Premier League, where he won the title with Chelsea and later coached Tottenham.
