From the source
According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Julian Agardi and Heiko Niedderer (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is putting its full faith in Urbig to become the club’s next No.
The club reportedly does not believe that even among Europe’s elite goalkeepers, there is an obvious candidate who comes with an absolute guarantee of performing better than the young German.
That belief is a significant vote of confidence in Urbig, who has been earning Bayern’s trust with his performances whenever given the opportunity. Rather than spending heavily on an established goalkeeper who would arrive expecting to compete for, or immediately claim, the starting position, Bayern are prepared to invest in the player they already have.
