Premier League rivals think Tottenham undercharged them by £54m this summer

The story in brief

25-second read

Brighton are already convinced that they got a much better deal than Tottenham Hotspur after the two clubs traded Luka Vuskovic and Jan Paul van Hecke this summer.

Spurs sold Luka Vuskovic to the Seagulls for £46m while the Lilywhites signed Jan Paul van Hecke from the South Coast club for £52m, even though he had only a year left on his contract.

Many are already wondering if Tottenham would have been better off keeping Vuskovic than signing Van Hecke, with the Croat enjoying an outstanding start to his Premier League career.
