RB Leipzig’s Willi Orban frustrated with comedy of errors vs. Bayern Munich

The story in brief

29-second read

RB Leipzig defender Willi Orban offered a brutally honest assessment of his team’s performance against Bayern Munich, admitting that the visitors never came close to delivering the level required to compete with the Bundesliga champions.

“I think the result says it all. We got nowhere near our limit and did very little of what we wanted to do. Bayern were very dominant and even had chances to score more goals.

It was an awful game from us. At half-time, we focused on what we’d done badly and wanted to do better, but then we conceded the next goal with Bayern’s first attack after the restart.
