Belloumi earns Hull draw with Everton after thrilling four-goal second half

The story in brief
35-second readMohamed Belloumi came off the bench to earn Hull City a 2-2 draw in a thrilling four-goal second-half which leaves Everton still unbeaten. Hull led shortly after half-time when Joe Gelhardt capitalised on a mistake from Everton right-back Ainsley Maitland-Niles, sending a delicate chip past Jordan Pickford in the 49th minute.
But Maitland-Niles soon atoned for his error with an inch-perfect cross for the outstanding Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who nodded in the equaliser and the first goal Hull have conceded at the MKM Stadium this season, after a VAR check ruled out Brennan Johnson's opener for offside in the first half.
