Former England manager Fabio Capello has reacted to Manchester United’s victory over Roma. A spectacular 3-2 comeback win for Manchester United was a crushing loss for Roma, who had lost their two previous visits to Old Trafford.
United had been 2-0 down at half-time. It came not long after Roma allowed a 3-1 lead against Real Madrid slip, losing 4-3 after a late collapse.
Former Roma boss Capello believes the Manchester United loss is more painful, because it cannot be excused. He points to Real Madrid’s superior players as reason for that loss – but cannot say the same about the Red Devils.
