Longoni unsure of Milan’s €50m Tresoldi pursuit: “You can probably find someone better”
Story updated
The story in brief
37-second readJournalist Andrea Longoni has offered an alternative take amid the clamour for AC Milan to go out and sign Nicolo Tresoldi. Tresoldi made the headlines in midweek as he scored a hat-trick against Inter during Club Brugge’s Champions League win at San Siro.
Naturally, the reminders followed in the Italian media that the forward grew up a boyhood fan of the club. Saturday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that Gerry Cardinale is plotting an approach for Tresoldi that could materialise as early as the winter window.
Given that the Cagliari-born sensation has called it his ‘dream’ move, convincing the player should not be an issue. In his latest column for MilanNews, Andrea Longoni addressed the speculation surrounding a potential big-money move for Tresoldi, and he revealed his belief that better is available for the price.
