The story in brief
27-second readCeltic have finally received encouraging news about their forgotten summer arrival, Landon Emenalo, with an 18-year-old defender expected to begin working with Martin O’Neill’s squad next week.
The Chelsea loanee joined Celtic on a season-long deal at the end of the summer transfer window, but an injury sustained during training with his parent club delayed his introduction.
He has yet to appear in a matchday squad, leaving O’Neill short of a natural alternative at left-back after Kieran Tierney’s latest setback. Speaking on Friday, the Celtic manager offered fans their clearest indication yet that Landon Emenalo could soon return to training.
