‘Be very careful’ – Steven Gerrard warns Tottenham about ‘risk’ of Marbella camp

Steven Gerrard has just sent a warning to Roberto De Zerbi and the Tottenham squad about their warm-weather training camp in Marbella. Given that Spurs have a nine-day break between the clash against Man Utd and their upcoming match against Coventry City, De Zerbi and his players have travelled to sunny Spain.

The Tottenham boss confessed the main purpose of the trip is to make the squad a tighter unit , and for the players to bond off the pitch.

When asked about the training camp in Spain, De Zerbi said: “Yes, because we have to build the team. Now the target is to build the team, not the group of players.
