Joe Cole explains what helped Arsenal get over the line against Leeds

Joe Cole says Arsenal’s remarkable squad depth was helpful as they beat Leeds in a match they could have lost and did not play at their best.

Leeds headed to London as one of the most in-form teams in the league, and a lot of their players had the chance to rest during the international window, so they were fresh.

However, as champions, Arsenal is always expected to perform, and the Gunners knew they had to respond to their loss to Brighton just before the break .
