Manchester United are reportedly showing strong interest in trumping Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Al-Ahli striker Ivan Toney, as per Caught Offside. The 30-year-old showed his productivity in the Premier League for Brentford, scoring 21 goals and registering five assists in 35 appearances during the 2022/23 campaign.
Since moving to the Saudi Pro League in 2024, he has continued to showcase his goal-scoring prowess, scoring 30 goals and registering five assists across all competitions in his debut season.
Last season, he netted 40 goals and notched up 11 assists in 48 appearances in all tournaments. Toney has even won two AFC Champions League Elite trophies and a Saudi Super Cup with Al-Ahli in recent years.
