Liverpool appear to have a chance to sign a fantastic player from Chelsea. A situation is developing there that could get messy. Liverpool beat Chelsea on penalties at Anfield on Wednesday evening and that's actually a lot more impressive than it sounds.

Andoni Iraola rotated fairly heavily for this one, after all. Alisson Becker remained on the bench throughout, while Milos Kerkez didn't take to the pitch at all.

Dominik Szoboszlai missed it through injury, of course, as did Victor Munoz. Iraola also decided to start without Alexander Isak, Jeremy Jacquet, Florian Wirtz, Alexis Mac Allister and Bradley Barcola.
