From the source

Bayern Munich may be keeping the door open for January reinforcements despite the club’s public stance that it does not intend to make any moves during the winter transfer window.

According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is actively assessing the market behind the scenes. Although the official word from Bayern officials is that the club won’t be active in the January transfer window, Bayern are definitely assessing the market behind the scenes.

Talks are taking place with player agents. They’re also considering whether there might be a loan option, or whether they could sign someone in January whom they had originally intended to bring in during the summer.
