Arsenal U21s are still without a league victory this season following a 2-2 draw at home to Sunderland. Trey Samuel-Ogunsuyi scored twice for Sunderland, with James Scanlon and Andre Harriman-Annous finding the net for Arsenal, the latter scoring a late equaliser having been set up by substitute Teshaun Murisa.
Sunderland were reduced to ten men for the closing stages as Ajibola Alese was dismissed for a second bookable offence. Marli Salmon captained Arsenal and played almost an hour after returning from injury, while Emerson Nwaneri started the game on the right wing, with the 16-year-old having some good moments.
