Moretto: ‘His right as a player’ – Bondo ready for shock return to Milan first-team training

By: Oliver Fisher Warren Bondo will be back in first team training with the rest of the AC Milan squad from today, according to Matteo Moretto.

Bondo was excluded from Ruben Amorim’s plans during the preseason, but failed to find a solution during the summer window. Thus, he was left in the strange position of being on the club’s books but not actually named in any of the squads, neither Serie A nor Europa League.

The Frenchman looked set to move to Turkey at one point, while Serie A clubs were linked too. Like with Fikayo Tomori, none of the talks that took place led to anything and thus that put both the club and the player in a difficult position .
