Video: Will Lankshear scores seventh goal of the season as Tottenham have just three

At a time when Tottenham Hotspur are crying out for a number nine who can put the ball into the back of the net, Will Lankshear is continuing to show why Spurs may have made a big error letting him go.

While Spurs had plenty of positives to take from Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, their lack of a goalscorer continues to be a glaring issue, with the Lilywhites failing to convert chance after chance.

Dominic Solanke did eventually repay Roberto De Zerbi’s trust by netting a late equaliser after Tottenham were reduced to 10 men, but the England international needed several big chances before finally netting his first of the league campaign.
