Morgan Rogers’ superb goal broke the deadlock in Chelsea’s victory against Manchester United on Saturday. Although United’s backline was all over the place, the England international showed real class by dribbling past them and lifting the ball over the goalkeeper.
It was Rogers’ sixth goal of the 2026/27 season in all competitions, and he also has four assists. The former Aston Villa star has made an excellent start to his Chelsea career, showing why he was worth the British-record £117 million transfer fee.
Jamie Carragher and special guest Seamus Coleman analysed Rogers’ performance before Newcastle vs Everton on Monday Night Football. Coleman compared the Chelsea forward to one of Tottenham’s best players of the Premier League era.
