"The Perfect Day for Everyone" - Enzo Maresca Lauds Determination in Manchester City Ranks After Liverpool Rout
Story updated
The story in brief
30-second readManchester City enjoyed a successful outing to Merseyside on Sunday. It was a fixture unlike any Manchester City have played in recent memory as the entirety of the backdrop was dominated by talk around an independent commission finding the Blues guilty of breaching the Premier League's financial rules during 2009-18.
The verdict landed in the recent international break and was met with a defiant response from Manchester City, who have filed a formal appeal against the decision of the independent panel.
The eight-time Premier League champions have cited 'irrefutable evidence' that sits at the forefront of their confidence that they will be proven innocent and cleared of all wrongdoing.
