The story in brief
28-second read(Photo by Tom Weller/picture alliance via Getty Images) Manuel Neuer is perhaps the greatest goalkeeper of all time. Neuer is an absolute icon of the sport and, without a doubt, shaped the position he played over his career.

Manuel Neuer made an embarrassing error leading to a goal within seconds of kick-off against Augsburg, and there has been no shortage of stories or rough statistics attacking the veteran goalkeeper this week.
