Liverpool will welcome Chelsea at Anfield this Wednesday night as they look to secure a victory at home in the EFL Cup. The Reds managed to earn a solid 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion recently, so they would fancy their chances of securing another good result in midweek.
Andoni Iraola will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation once again and is expected to make a few changes to his first team for this game.
Kostas Tsimikas, Trey Nyoni and Rio Ngumoha could all play from the start of this contest. Giorgi Mamardashvili will operate in goal for the Merseyside club as he looks to keep a clean sheet in front of the home fans.
