Sean Neave scored his first two professional goals to win the game for Wolves on Wednesday night, coming off the bench to turn a 1-0 deficit at Bristol City into a 2-1 victory.
The Newcastle loanee was introduced in the 73rd minute and struck in the 82nd and 89th, sending Wolves up to second in the Championship. Kieran Trippier helped create both goals before paying tribute to his former Newcastle team-mate afterwards.
A first-half free-kick had left Wolves chasing the game at Ashton Gate, but Neave needed just nine minutes to make his mark. Trippier met a switch of play with a first-time ball into fellow former Magpie Adam Armstrong, whose shot was saved.
