From the source

West Ham’s aim is clear, and that is to return to the Premier League. Nuno Espírito Santo’s side sit third in the Championship after 12 games and have scored 32 goals, but their stats remain a concern.

They have fallen behind in nine of 15 matches and conceded 15 of their 20 goals before half-time. Southampton’s 3-2 win exposed the problem again, leaving Nuno needing greater control in midfield.

The Czech midfielder missed West Ham’s first eight league games after a World Cup ankle injury, then returned with an immediate impact. He has scored three times in 105 Championship minutes, including twice off the bench against Lincoln City and a consolation against Southampton.
