The derby victory put AC Milan back on track in the league, but now they need to do the same in Europe. The Rossoneri are stuck on three points in the Europa League League Phase, while Ferencvaros arrive at San Siro with a perfect record of nine points from nine.

A position in the standings that does not reflect the ambitions of Ruben Amorim's team, who must win to avoid further complicating their path towards the Round of 16.

Saturday's victory over Inter could, however, provide the right boost, but they will need to turn that enthusiasm into consistency. The Hungarians have built their European campaign from the qualifying rounds, eliminating Vojvodina, Twente, Gornik Zabrze and Trabzonspor in that order.
