Barcelona are preparing for the possibility of Alejandro Balde leaving in January, with his agent Jorge Mendes exploring potential destinations across Europe, according to SPORT.
As reported before, the Catalan club would prefer a permanent transfer worth approximately €40 million, but a loan containing an option or obligation to buy could provide an alternative route to completing the operation.
As anticipated, Balde’s future has become increasingly uncertain after losing his regular starting position under Hansi Flick. The 23-year-old wants to regain consistency and secure an environment where he plays regularly, while Barcelona are considering how his departure could help finance their January transfer plans.
