The story in brief
34-second readCan Marc Guehi lead Man City to victory against PSG on Wednesday? Guehi has been one of Manchester City 's best players in the opening months of Maresca's tenure at the Etihad Stadium, with the latter replacing Pep Guardiola at the helm in June.
City extended their perfect start to the 2026/27 season to eight games in all competitions at the weekend as goals from Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki secured a 3-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield.
The Blues have won six out of six games in the Premier League campaign so far and sit at the summit as they look to dethrone reigning champions Arsenal , who edged Guardiola and co to a first league title in 22 years last season.
