From the source

There is a difference between having a great season and playing so well that the Ballon d’Or conversation becomes impossible to ignore. Michael Olise is rapidly approaching the latter.

The Bayern Munich winger has been absolutely outrageous for club and country this season, putting together numbers that would be remarkable for an out-and-out striker, let alone a creative wide player who is also responsible for building attacks, creating chances, and making life miserable for opposing defenders.

In his 16 appearances, Olise has 13 starts, 16 goals, and eight assists. The Frenchman has a goal involvement every 50 minutes per @iMiaSanMia. Read those numbers again, run your eyes, and then do it again — those are the kind of stats that people cannot ignore.
