Confirmed Line-Ups: Liverpool vs Manchester City (Premier League)

The story in brief

30-second read

Can Man City come away with three points from Anfield? City have been rocked by being found guilty of artificially inflating sponsorship revenue between 2009-18 and a failure to co-operate with the Premier League's investigation.

Over three-and-a-half years since they were first charged by the Premier League in February 2023, the Blues have filed a comprehensive appeal against the verdict given by a three-member independent panel.

The appeal board will also have a similar make-up and as Manchester City await the commencement of proceedings, several Premier League rivals are reported to be preparing civil compensation claims linked to the period covered by the charges for a net £800 million.
