Will Osula's ankle injury during the first half may lead to Afner Ca's potential Premier League debut against Everton, as reported by Newcastle Toons. Osula was replaced by Yoane Wissa at half-time, and the extent of his injury is still uncertain. The absence of Osula and Matias Fernandez-Pardo raises questions about the team's frontline options. Yoane Wissa has been underperforming lately.
Afner Ca has been involved in first-team training and possesses attributes suitable for a centre-forward in Jaissle's system, including being a physical presence and able to hold up the ball. He has shown goal-scoring ability against senior opposition and has the potential to offer a different approach compared to Yoane Wissa. Ca's style is more similar to Osula's, making him a potential replacement.
Giving Afner Ca a chance against Everton could be a viable option, as he might provide a more effective presence than Yoane Wissa against a physical opposition. Ca's ability to occupy centre-backs and bring teammates into play could be beneficial. However, it would be a significant step for the 19-year-old, throwing him into the deep end.

Source context
Will Osula spent most of the first half last night hobbling around after twisting his ankle, before being replaced by Yoane Wissa at half-time. Whilst it isn’t yet confirmed how bad the injury is and if the Dane will miss any action, the possibility of Osula missing game time is already raising questIons about what the solution may be up front. Matias Fernandez-Pardo has now missed two games and there is nothing to say exactly when he will return. That leaves the only other option as Yoane Wissa, who has been absolutely awful of late and is beginning to lose the backing of the Geordie faithful.
