Why Craig Pawson felt wrath of 'absolutely furious' John McGinn in Aston Villa draw vs Brentford
Story updated
The story in brief
31-second readJohn McGinn couldn't hide his emotion as Aston Villa drew to Brentford on Saturday. The skipper was coming into the Premier League clash off the back of a packed out international break.
He only missed three minutes with Scotland as it wasn't until the 87th minute of their final game before he was substituted off. That didn't go down well with Unai Emery , but he still trusted the midfielder to start at Villa Park.
There was maybe an element of tiredness to his performance, with his frustration clear to see. McGinn took aim at referee Pawson as his annoyance threatened to boil over with Lee Hendrie sitting up to take notice.
